Murder of Ravens
Murder of Ravens

The ancient Indian art of tracking is his greatest strength…
And also his biggest weakness.

Fish and Wildlife State Trooper Gabriel Hawke believes he’s chasing poachers.
However, he comes upon a wildlife biologist standing over a body that is wearing a wolf tracking collar.

He uses master tracker skills taught to him by his Nez Perce grandfather to follow clues on the mountain. Paper trails and the whisper of rumors in the rural community where he works, draws Hawke to a conclusion that he finds bitter.
Arresting his brother-in-law ended his marriage, could solving this murder ruin a friendship?

An Interview With A Character

What is your full name?

Gabriel Hawke

What is your Profession?

Oregon State Trooper in the Fish and Wildlife Division- Game Warden

What is your current favourite book or movie?

I don’t watch movies. I’m either working or spending time outside.  My current favorite book would be anything on American Indian politics.

What is your go to comfort book or movie?

As I stated before I don’t watch movies. I don’t even have a television. My favorite comfort book is anything by James Herriot.

If someone was to play you in a movie who would it be? OR what would be the character you would want to be in a book?

Adam Beach would be the best person to play me in a movie. It is the actor my author used as the prototype for my character.

What is your ideal evening?

My ideal evening is sitting on the bank of one of the high Wallowa lakes fishing and listening to nature.
