Over the last week or so I have really been able to get on with my crafting (sore hand not withstanding!), in one of my online groups Thursday is designated as UFO day (aka UnFinished Objects day), my main UFO at the moment is my needlepoint dog and so I have been working on that today, when I finished last week it looked like this :-
the light green was fully finished and so today I continued working on the darker green (in order to finish that colour off!) and so by the time the light got too bad I had manage to get this far :-
9 more of the medallion middles (oh and quarter of another!) and that will be done, hopefully tomorrow I can get that done and then I can get on with finishing the main colour off completely (if you look closely at the blue triangles coming in from from the outside you can see there are little gaps, they are to be filled with the main background colour.) From then I have three more orange/red shades to go (which I have dug out)
then I need to finish off the two blues (again in the medallions), brown, pink, cream and finally white! Ideally I would like to get this all done by the end of the year but I think that may be pushing it a bit, so the best would be to get as much done as I can and then finish it early next year, and start the Medieval Rabbit!
The thing is as well as working on this I am also working on my knitting
I would like to get this to the split for the front (when I might need help!) by the end of the year as well and the other thing of course is the cross stitch! This again I need good light for but I have got some more done
I would like to get all the gold at least done by the end of the year (ideally I would like to get the biggest colour done for each of the characters but that is a LOT of stitching!), next year I want to finish each month by the end of each month (if that makes sense lol), hmm better crack on I guess!
