Halloween-yarn-exchange 002

Some wonderful, yummy yarn and accessories arrived thanks to an on-line exchange, I just need to translate the US crochet hook sizes and figure out what the wooden stick is for and then I am good to go!

Other news, hmm, well, the sofa is back to being the sofa of doom as three parcels arrived in quick succession (all lovely stuff though, so I really shouldn't complain lol, one parcel was the afore mentioned yarny goodies, one was two new teapots (and 8 cup and a 2 cup) and the final one was some Estee Lauder goodies – so all nice stuff!, just the boxes and packing stuff take up a heck of a lot of room!), oh and add into that the fact that Dr Wytch got an Amazon order and yep – another box and packing!

So this week I need to clear this, get some crochet done (the stuff I have already started mind you – even though it is VERY tempting to try the new yarn out! Especially the ribbon yarn which looks fun).  So later this week I may be posting lists again, either on here or at least on the yahoo groups – that way I can be held accountable for what I am doing cleaning and clearing wise and so that I don't spend the whole week just having fun (mind you that does sound very, VERY tempting LOL).

One question I have is do I try and do NaNoWriMo this year, I am suspecting not as I am finding typing very hard and seeing as my computer has had a hissy fit and I am back on the laptop then I don't have the Dragon Naturally Speaking software, which means I would end up in screaming agony each and every day – add in the fact that I am already four days behind and I will lose another four or five days later in the month and I think I have answered my own question.  I suspect I need to get other things sorted out again before I even think about that, which is a shame – but hey if I wasn't disabled I wouldn't have this problem, but I am and I do *sigh*.

What fun with your packages. What do the teapots look like?

They are old fashioned “Brown Betty” teapots (okay I can feel another photograph coming on!)
