The blogs I follow are wonderful, people are out doing stuff, doing stuff in their houses, crafting, cooking, having fun! I am still stuck in the one room, one chair and have zero energy to do anything other than read, doomscroll, spend time on the computer and so on.

No crafting has happened in weeks and I am not even managing to do my physio as much as I would like thanks to dizziness (I am not sure if it is heat, pain, lack of food, or a mixture of all three).

The one thing that IS working is I seem to be very slowly losing weight, Thursday last week I finally dipped back down into the 18 stone bracket, weighing in at 18st 13 lb (265 lbs or 120.2 kg) which means I have lost 6 st 1 lb (85 lb or 38.5 kg). so that I am pleased with.

Oh and I re-started my Duolingo and currently have a 2 month streak so I guess that is something else in my favour lol.

Oh, that’s fine! It may seem like other people are doing so much, but it’s just carefully curated content made to look that way. I think we’re trying too hard to sell ourselves as these hyper-productive, always-on-the-go people, but really, who are we trying to impress? It’s okay to stop for a bit and take a breather 🙂

Oh, I really feel this post. ❤️ It is so easy to look at the beautiful, busy lives people share on their blogs and feel like we are somehow standing still. But sometimes simply getting through a difficult season is already a lot.

I hope the dizziness settles soon and your energy slowly returns. I’m sure the crafting, cooking, and creating will come back when your body is ready. Until then, be kind to yourself. Sending warm wishes from Latvia! 🌸
