Okay well I started stitching again and I finished the small Snoopy picture and I finished the dark border colour on the Map of Durham (think I need a photo taking in natural light and possibly done by Dr Tempe with me holding it up so you don't get the shadowing).
So this is a good start to the finish off things challenge I set myself, I will get all the rivers done next, then the rest of the place names and so on!
Wow. That map looks like an interesting project. And a long one. 🙂

The Map of Durham is from Heritage Stitchcraft English Maps and I am doing it for my Mum as she was born and bred in County Durham grin, in my stash I have Cambridgeshire (where I currently live) and Lancashire (where my OH is from!), I have previously done Guernsey for a friend.
As to timing it shouldn’t take too long as there is not much stitching but what there is can be fiddly (lots of backstitching for the rivers for example!)
