Day 155 of 1001

A good day yesterday – and plans made for this week (I'm going to be a busy Tempewytch!), mainly stitching but reading about how to turn a heel, also some cleaning and filing (ack!), but one thing I managed to get done yesterday was to type up some more recipes so that is a job done (and having set myself the target of 50 new recipes over the 1001 days I have already done 39 of them LOL – at this rate this one will be ticked off by September!)
So I have had a nice relaxing morning (which also included a decent soak in the bath AND an all over body scrub, excluding my right leg below the knee – I looked peeled by the end of it *sniggers*), so I am going to catch up on mail and blogs and then stitch!

Hi, Tempewytch-Im so tickled you tried and liked the mustard greens and potato tian as part of your goal to try 50 new recipes. This 101 in 1001 project is new to me, Im learning about it on your site — what a great project to set for yourself! The 2 goals youve set that jumped out at me were the wine/mead making and reading Silmarillion — I loved the book, read it a million years ago after devouring the Hobbit and Trilogy for the 4th time! Seems like reading Silmarillion WHILE sipping elderberry or cherry wine would be a wonderful summer pasttime! ; ) Happy Summer~

That does sound like a good afternoon – I think I may have to try that with The Lord of the Rings later this summer!I loved the Tian recipe, and would be very happy to have that as a lunch dish just on its own :-)Thank you
