Not such a great week last week, no weight loss, however, I did lose an inch from my waist! I am a little fed up of the scales not shifting (another 7 lbs and I will have lost half of what I want to lose). I think part of the problem is my red wine consumption has increased and whilst I am not busted on the calorie front, the “empty” calories are not helping. I must confess I don’t want to give up the booze totally but I do think I need to rein it in a little.

Food wise I am trying to mix things up a little, and not rely so heavily on cheese as my source of protein, so far that isn’t going terribly well, although my vegetable intake has improved (or at least the 30 plant points tracking).

  • Jacket potato, butter and mixed beans
  • Sourdough sandwich with butter, cheese, lettuce and tomato
  • Mushroom soup and home made sourdough bread
  • White bread, butter, cheese and Branston
  • Tomato soup and home made sourdough bread
  • Jacket potato and mixed beans in spicy sauce
  • Hovis batch white sandwich with cheese, Branston and butter
  • Mushroom soup and sourdough bread
  • Wholewheat noodle and veg stir fry (mushroom, tofu and veggies)
  • Hovis batch white bread with butter, cheese and Branston
  • Pizza (double cheese!)
  • Bertinet sourdough bread, cheese, butter, lettuce, tomato
  • One pan halloumi veggie traybake
  • Scrambled eggs with fresh home made sourdough

Plant points for the week = 32

Today I was at my physio appointment, and that is something else that has slipped rather a lot! So from tomorrow I need to knuckle back down and start building my leg strength back up again. So there maybe another chart added to these posts, basically giving me a daily check in and seeing how I do at the end of each week.

So plans for the week ahead, Physio – lots of physio!, halve the amount of red wine I drink, do some knitting, do some mending, track my plant points and track my “Rations”, all of which should help my physical and mental health and that can only be a good thing.

Wish me luck!
