Okay having spent a couple of afternoon/evenings just working on the Granny Square lap blanket I finished it last night!

This meant that today I worked more on the Safe Haven shawl, which is growing very slowly indeed! I had hoped to have this finished by this coming weekend but no way is THAT going to happen as I still have at least twice as much again to knit (ie I am approximately a third of the way through it *sigh*), I will say the colour and warmth are going to be worth it in the long run mind you. Now I need to decide if I am taking this with me when we go away for a fortnight, or do I take the Granny Square tote bag kit, some small cross stitch kits or even all three!
