When I accepted the ARC I didn't realise it was #5 in a series, however whilst reading the previous books could have been useful for character growth that doesn't take away from what was an excellent book (indeed I will be going back and reading the previous books and then future books).

Here we have out protagonist Patricia Falcon who has been contacted by a good friend whose father is undergoing very expensive and seemingly unsuccessful cancer treatment, the daughter would like Patricia to check into Magnum Oncology to see if medical negligence even fraud is being perpetrated upon desperate, rich Savannah people.

As she digs into the world run by one Dr. Demetrius Gryoti she needs to involve people with skills she doesn't have, but then the stakes get higher and the danger gets closer she and her friends/colleagues will need to hold their nerve, or risk losing everything, including their nearest and dearest or even themselves.
