Crafts and Life

Okay basically I haven't blogged on this for two years! I could use the excuse of post viral fatigue, actually yes I will use that! for the whole of 2023 and the early part of 2024 I was just shattered all the time, and then on April 21st 2024 I fell backwards down the stairs when going up to bed (thank you CRPS in my right ankle), and ended up breaking my left femur rather badly, I was operated on on the 25th April and then was in hospital until the 13th May (partly as hubby had to source and buy a reclining chair for me as there was no room for a hospital bed at home).  Since then my life has centred around the living room :-

This basically shows where I live, the commode is maybe a metre away and in front of the front door (so hubby needs to collect any deliveries my going out of the back and up the drive), maybe once a month (at the moment, I hope to increase this) I get into the kitchen which is the next room, that way I can wash my hair, I am still on a walking frame as I panic when using crutches, and panic even worse at the idea of stairs!

So – as the song goes, things can only get better.
