When Laurel Inwood features Italian cuisine on the Terminal at the Tracks menu, she knows she'll need to stock the shelves, the fridge, and the freezer with plenty of wonderful delicacies. She just never expected one of them to be her former employer, Hollywood superstar Meghan Cohan.
And one day, when Laurel is at the restaurant early to get ready for the regular rush of customers, that's exactly what she finds–Meghan dead in the Terminal freezer.
What's a Hollywood A-lister doing in Hubbard, Ohio?
For Laurel, that's the real question, because the first question she'd ask in any other murder investigation–who would want the victim dead?–seems pretty much a no-brainer in this case.
Who would want Meghan dead?
Just about anybody who had ever met her.
Phew! Another humdinger from Kylie Logan here!
Laurel made the decision at the end of the last book to stay at The Terminal by the Tracks (and though she didn't know it when she make that decision it was helped by the fact that Rocky who was murdered in the last book had left her the house and land she owned), another Ethnic session is underway, this time Italian (after all who doesn't love pizza and pasta!) but when Laurel arrives home one night she finds her house has been trashed! and as if that wasn't bad enough she gets to work a day later to find the same thing has happened there, only this time it turns out to be more serious than just a break in as there is a dead body in the freezer, oh and not just any dead body but the Hollywood Diva that sacked her without cause 18 months ago!
Laurel would be suspect #1, if it wasn't for the fact that pretty much everyone else who has been close to Meghan recently seems to be in the environs of Hubbard, now Laurel needs to navigate reporters, an angsty teen, Declan, her Aunt Sophie and …. well pretty much everyone, to find out the truth and at the same time decide once and for all what she wants to do with her life.
