Killer Green Tomatoes

To Angie, nothing tastes more like summer than her Nona's fried green tomatoes. Eager to add the recipe to the menu at the County Seat, she's found the perfect produce supplier—her sous chef Estebe’s cousin, Javier. Just one problem: ladies’ man Javier’s current hot tomato Heather has turned up dead, and he’s the prime suspect. Somehow, between managing her restaurant and navigating a romantic triangle between Estebe and Ian, the owner/manager of the farmer's market, Angie needs to produce evidence to clear Javier—before this green tomato farmer gets fried . . .

This is a series that is well worth a "binge" read as each of the books is a page turner and then some!

Angie is always on the look out  for more suppliers so when her sous chef, Estebe, mentions that his cousin runs a farm she is willing to go along to find out more, what she does find is great produce and cousin Javier who believes he is God's gift to women! Angie isn't interested n becoming a notch on his bed post and lets him know (she already has problems with the local gossips saying she is playing the field with both Estebe and her boyfriend Ian!), it isn't too long though before Javier is in the hot seat, one of his most recent conquests is dead and Javier is accused of her murder.

Then Javier disappears, Estebe has taken time off to a) try and find him and b) help out at the upcoming Basque Fesival which means Angie needs help in the kitchen (the sous chef her business partner Felicia finds from a temp agency lasts one shift, Angie prefers a temp dishwasher/gofer and she will bump Hope, her current dishwasher/gofer up to working with the food until Estebe is back.) Angie finds herself getting more and more involved, just to get her kitchen back to normal!
