Even Merry Ol’ England isn’t safe from the murder and betrayal that seem to follow amateur sleuths, Maggie O’Flynn and Gina Mattucci.
While in London to visit their friend, the famous film star Miles Elliot, the three friends attend a society party hosted by a man who just hours later is brutally murdered. When Maggie and Gina find themselves at the center of the investigation they decide to combine sightseeing with a bit of sleuthing. Immersed in London’s high society and its art and theater worlds, searching for a killer becomes a dangerous distraction for the two sleuths, who probably should have stuck to the Top Ten Sights To See In London.
Oh My GOSH, I never thought these could get better than they were but Monica Knightly has proved me wrong, a cracking cast and a locked house murder – without their usual set up can Maggie and Gina find out the truth?
Maggie and Gina are in London (with Maggie having to tell Gina to use her indoor voice …. quite a bit!), lots of sightseeing is happening and Miles (who invited them) is acting as tour guide, when he isn't acting on stage that is! One evening is to be taken up with a cocktail party, followed by watching Miles on stage, at the party Gina is smitten by an Englishman called Colin (and it seems to be mutual), Maggie meanwhile is getting lots of juicy titbits to potentially use in her raunchy romances!
After the performance Miles, Maggie and Gina take their hostess back to her house and her husband hasn't arrived to collect her, when they get in the house though they realise why as he is lying well and truly dead! Now Colin looks as though he could be suspect #1 and Gina is frantic so Maggie dusts off her deerstalker to channel her inner Sherlock (whilst trying not to upset Miles, her friend Darius or, most importantly, the Detectives of Scotland Yard!), oh and still find time to see the sights as well.
