Organised for Scheduled Sabotage

Organization expert Kate McKenzie is intrigued when a publisher hires her company, Stacked in Your Favor, to help the author of a bestselling calendar line get organized for a photo shoot to illustrate the next year’s editions. Even better, she and Meg Berman learn the proceeds of the calendar business fund an animal rescue program in their state of Vermont. But once sabotage turns to murder and the police start looking for suspects, Kate and Meg find their lives suddenly upended by chaos and their own reputations are at risk. Now, it’s not enough to fulfill the terms of their contract, they must also find a way to save their client and her rescue program, too. All while making sure their next work outfits aren’t matching orange jumpsuits.

Ms Ames has hit the Bullseye again with the third in a fantastic series (please keep them coming!)

Kate and Meg have been hired to organise the photo shoot for an Organising Calendar writer, the premise itself was enough to pull them in, as surely someone that designs Organisation tools should be organised? Yes? It appears that yes she is BUT because she is also running a rescue centre for animals she just has way too much on her plate and needs another set of eyes to help sort things out, which is where Stacked in Your Favor has come in.  Everything is going smoothly when a woman turns up yelling and demanding a cut of the money that Liz (the Calendar writer) has earned, they eventually get her to leave, only for Kate and Meg to run across her again at the grocery store in the local town (Bren, the demander, hasn't seen them luckily!), what they see is Bren getting fired from her job for arguing with customers, it appears she has a VERY short fuse.

Later that evening Kate and Meg realise that in all the stress and hassle caused by Bren they had left their notes behind, so they drive back to get them, only to discover a corpse, it seems they are going to end up with more than one Police Officer on speed dial at this rate!
