Meh, still feel crummy, keep going hot and cold, and seriously puffy! Weight 22 st 8.25 lb (grumbles).

COMPASSION FOR YOURSELF, OTHERS

Once you understand obesity, you’ll begin to see how helpless people really are when they don’t understand it. If you don’t know what’s wrong, how can you fix it? And as we all know, the traditional diet “cure” has ironically been the cause of obesity for many people besides you and me. First, stop blaming yourself for getting fat. Next, resolve to forgive yourself for gorging, binging, starving, and gaining weight. That should be fairly easy since your efforts were made in good faith as you attempted to solve your weight problem. You didn’t understand, and you weren’t really in control. So forget it. Finally, think of all the people you’ve secretly judged for their poor self-control. Think of them now with understanding.
