Annie Fisher checks her list of last minute wedding preparations. Food, flowers, dress alterations, and, of course, a wine-filled evening with her mom, aunt, and close friends are all on track for the perfect day. At least, it appears to be heading toward the perfect day.
When a not-so-welcome relative shows up at the last minute, Annie’s Aunt Leona hits the wine and speeds toward a melt-down.
And if that’s not bad enough, an additional wedding guest turns up. Dead.
With motives pointing every which way, including at Aunt Leona, the clock is ticking down. Annie can’t avoid searching for the killer in order to clear the air before she walks down the aisle. Will the mystery be unraveled in time? Or will Annie or someone close to her get caught in the maze of lies, deception, and the threat of another body?
Annie and Jason are ready to get married, Leona's dress has been altered to fit Annie, the hotel is ready, Annie, Leona, Mia, Camilla and Martha are ready to have a final girls night of wine and nibbles, but Leona seems to be hitting the wine a little too early (and rather too hard!), it appears that the new boutique that is opening is run by a cousin (Trish), and this cousin stole Leona's designs in order to get herself started in business. If that wasn't bad enough on the night of the get together Annie discovers Trish's husbands body, and then Annie's wedding dress is stolen!
If Annie want's the wedding day to go smoothly she needs to find that dress, find out who killed Trish's husband (the Police Chief seems to think that Leona is in the frame for that) – so no pressure!
