Wine tea and lunch 005

Up earlier today (just gone 09.00!) but no breakfast as I knew I would be having lunch early (out for tea and sarnies mid afternoon), had my water and tea first thing and then after my lunch at 11.30 I started to drink herbal tea (have some tea bags that need using so Dr Wytch very kindly made me a flask of tea this morning before he left for work).

Weight – 22 st 6.5 lb (okay up on yesterday BUT I was up two hours earlier so that could have an impact, main thing at the moment is getting my head into a good space re food again, weight loss at the moment would be a bonus.)

DAY EIGHTEEN

Key Theme: SKILL

HUNGER IN DISGUISE

You are learning so much about your body these first few weeks! Perhaps you’ve been surprised a few times— when you get hungry, what you get hungry for, how much, how little you want or need to eat. It takes a considerable amount of trust in your body to keep on satisfying its fuel-need signals when you’ve been taught to override them for so long. But remember, as you satisfy your body, its needs will change. Your body will need the same thing you need— to use up extra fat. If you are uncertain about a signal your body sends, ask yourself, does any real food sound appealing? Does food suddenly look good to me? If you answer yes to either question, try eating some Real Food. You will soon discover whether or not you got the signal right.

“In today’s thin world, our best chance is for the facts about fat to replace the myths about obesity.” From “Fat Chance in a Thin World,” NOVA Program #1007

Food for Thought: When in doubt, ask yourself questions— think .
