Day 3 into 4 002

Up slightly later today (just gone 09.00) so by the time I was showered and downstairs it was 10.00.  Had my tablets and then headed out to get my nails done (and because I have been successful and got my disability payments back, and enough points to qualify for my Blue Badge and Disabled Bus Pass I took some pink Cava in to share as the ladies at Optimum Beauty have been so supportive over the last 18 months!), back by 13.30 and 14.00 had lunch (drank my tea in between), then nothing else to drink until Dr Wytch  arrived home with cider!)

Weight today 22 st 6.5 lbs (ouch! 2.5 lbs ON – that's the lots of cider problem!)

DAY FIVE

Key Theme: INSIGHT

UNDERSTANDING OBESITY

Not eating causes obesity— not eating well, not eating enough, and not eating on time. The cure for obesity is the reverse. Eating well (excellent food), eating enough (satisfying your hunger), and eating on time (when you first get hungry), will gradually cause weight loss and ultimately lead to natural slimness. The concept is almost simple enough for a child to understand, but it is not an easy thing to do. It requires much more than insight. In order to make this concept work for you, you must change. Inside and out, you must change your whole approach to your diet and your eating habits. Your new understanding will provide the ongoing motivation for change. And your newfound freedom from hunger will eliminate the tendency to go back to the old ways of eating and thinking.

“Very little is needed to make a happy life. It is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.” Marcus Aurelius
