  Day 2 & 3 001

Okay up at 10.30 today, had my tablets with the water at 11.30 and started my first mug of tea at 11.40. The meals are the same as yesterday (for ease for Mark as it is a stressful time at the moment) but there will be no alcohol :D, 2nd mug of tea at 12.40, lunch at 13.00 and I will be ready for it! Third mug of tea at 14.20, around 16.30 my tum started grumbling so I had a Yokebe shake and a pint of water. Tea number 4 at 17.30, 19.30 mushroom stir fry (same as last night – started to feel a little hungry round about 19.15 so the timing was about right!), cup of tea #5 at 19.25, last mug of tea and my supper of cheese and crackers at 21.00 (and yes a slight empty feeling – be interesting to see how I do when away, again I am not sure if my tum is just used to a little something at this time!), went to bed with a slight feeling of hunger (so strange to actually feel hungry – for so long I haven't done).

Weight today 22 st 5.5 lbs (0.25 lbs off from yesterday)

DAY TWO

Key Theme: FAITH

BELIEVING IN MY BODY

My body is the product of thousands of generations of human beings whose survival has been ensured through adapting to various levels of food availability. It is the accumulation of excess fat that has guaranteed human survival. My body has been working to keep me alive too, but now my body knows how to become slim. It has a built-in need to use up fat when it becomes unnecessary for its survival. I can make that fat unnecessary by eating exceptionally well every day. My body will do the rest.

“Reactivate the dynamic quality of confidence based on the realistic fact that you have the knowledge and the ability to do what needs doing . . .You know how to do it competently.” Norman Vincent Peale
