Beauvallet sailed with Sir Francis Drake and now has his own ship the Venture and during his latest voyage the Venture is attacked by a Spanish Galleon, the Venture's crew comes out ahead and they discover not only riches but a Spanish noblewoman, her father and their servants, they are taken on board and after a few days Beauvallet has decided he will marry the Senorita, and so tells her that he will drop her and her father in Spain and will be with her within the year, although at first she scoffs at him she comes around.
