Crafts and Life

Literally a quick update! I have been trying to work on some form of crafting most days, generally the afternoons for cross stitch and needlepoint (whilst the light is reasonable!) and early evening for my knitting (still the purple lol).  I didn't take a photo of the knitting (as I would have needed to get it back out, the needlepoint and cross stitch are close to hand) but I did photograph the needlepoint and cross stitch.

First off the Medieval Dog

This is only the top section BUT the pale green is finished in the main body and the pale green in the medallions at the bottom, so for that colour I only have 7 medallions to go and that is then that colour completely done (yay!), so that is my task for next week needlepoint wise.

Secondly the Winnie the Pooh year,

that is all the gold aka Winnie the Pooh main colour, done for January, after the "poll" last time the "votes" came in split between finish each colour in turn and finish each month in turn (rather typical I thought, I wanted an easy decision and it didn't happen lol), what I ended up deciding to do is work on a colour at a time until the end of 2015 and then in 2016 finish a month at a time (hopefully one a month or even quicker).

Next time I will try and put before and after shots for all three crafts, and hopefully I will be able to see a difference (I always forget how slow stitching in particular can be *wry grin*),
