The first thing is I have managed to get some stitching done for the first time in WEEKS – the last time I worked on the Winnie the Pooh calendar it looked like this

Craft update 003

Today I managed to finish the box surround off and started the first character

Dogs stitching 002

It started getting a little too dark to work on it so I had to stop for the day (also my hand was getting seriously sore, like really seriously sore!), the question is though, do I work through each colour at a time OR do I finish a month at a time (answers on a postcard, or more reasonably in the comments on here!)

We have been doing a little more clearing up/out of stuff

Mark and house 009

From here the cardboard box behind the black bin bag has gone, I just need to do some sorting and hanging up of clothes for the top of the blanket box to look better.

Mark and house 010

and from here the deceased bits of computer kit etc have gone (the cardboard box was used to transport them lol), it isn't a huge amount but each bit chips away at the mess and makes the house more what we want it to be.

My desk is still rather a mess but that is getting there as well slowly but surely but not really worth putting a picture up until it is straightened out.

Dogs stitching 001

This was taken last night, this shot shows the evenings are getting cooler and the dogs want to be closer together for warmth 😀

What else? Hmm still trying to lose weight (more about that on my other blog) and Dr Wytch is job hunting (that is never a good thing) and finally a pic of my late Mum, taken 4 years ago before she became ill.

If you finish a month at a time, you’ll feel like things are getting done.
