Hmm the younger of our two Cairn Terriers has a habit of scratching at the sofa cushions to make them comfortable to lie on, this is not good for the fabric longevity!
Last year OH was given some upholstery fabric samples (a work colleague's relative no longer needed them) and each is just under the width of the cushion (yay!), and so before Christmas I did the red cushion and today I did the grey …
it may not be the best fix in the world but it will keep some perfectly good cushions going for a few more years (I just wish it didn't hurt as much as it does to do the stitching … ah well!).
The cleaning is mainly my desk – I spend most of my day here, either on the computer or with my chair turned around to do some crafting and it therefore becomes a bit (lot) of a dumping ground, some things need to stay on there but this is the result after a blitz to clear "stuff"

This week needs to be more work on the needlepoint and knitting, hmm and maybe some more sorting, and catching up in general!
