I am getting there with the Medieval Dog cushion cover, my only gripe is that it wasn't printed square on to the canvas – hence the interesting steps you can see every so often! But what the flip, if adds interest and I am enjoying it, that is the main thing I reckon! Hmm plans for this? Finish the deep blue border surrounds, the finish all the deep blue (and the rest of the background reddish colour, there are bits of that scattered around the rest of the picture and I would like to have that colour fully signed off!)
This is the one I really want to get done, I have one locomotive to do and then some lighthouses and boats, this one really is close to getting there, which is good as I really want to hand this back over to Mum with my love (she can flipping well sort out getting it framed though I reckon! I have enough of my own to be getting on with *grin*)
This shows what there is still to do (although I forgot to mark off a couple of factories), and I am really pleased with how I am doing, I have struggled and it has hurt … a LOT, but I have nearly got there, I am hoping that the next craft update will have the Map finished and the plan stated above for the cushion front done. On top of this I need to get some knitting done as well, so all in all I think I am going to be a rather busy KnyttWytch over the next few months! (oh and I have other cross stitches still in my stash – so they will continue to be my Monday crafty afternoon items I think.)
So this afternoon, do I do more on the tapestry? do some knitting? or do some reading? answers on a postcard please! (oh and that reminds me, I really should send another couple of Postcrossing cards as well!)
