Okay not much has been happening crafting wise for a while (apart from a mjor snit when I realised I had made a humungeous error near the start of my sweater so the whole lot came back out! I am now re-knitting that *sigh*), I have taken a long hard look at the tapestry and the Map of Durham so I can see how much there is still to do – the former … LOTS (so my plan has changed slightly, if I can finish the main background colour this year that would be good)

Re the Map of Durham, I actually have more done than I thought, but as I can only work on that at the crafty afternoons on a Monday (and I have only made one or two of those this year for what ever reason) then that is also on a go slow, hopefully I will get more done this coming Monday though.

The trees are being a pain in the proverbial so I may try and get something else finished so I feel as though I am getting somewhere (hmm OR I take this to the Knit and Natter and try and work on it there as well, I want to get this FINISHED!)

Dogs, well in their news they were getting to be scruffy individuals and so it was time for a trip to the grooming parlour (and we didn't wait as long with Hamish as we did with Toby – so it wasn't too bad a job for the groomer!)

Both – after

Now before the end of Sunday I want to have done some tapestry, have knitted two more squares, have finished reading three books (possibly four), have a couple of postcards written and sent, contact a few people on line and basically try and get myself in gear!

Hello! I thought of you when my daughter got a cross-stitch map of Wiltshire at a yard sale. She says it’s a summer project, and when she looked at it more closely, began to worry a little. Not, perhaps, the best first project! If any progress is ever made, I’ll blog it! Hope you are well!

Ooops! Erm I hope she manages okay with it (I will say that I found them fairly straight forward once I got going!)
