Two days ago, or more accurately two afternoons ago, Dr Tempewytch ordered some items from Amazon. We have Amazon prime, which means that the items should have arrived yesterday, they didn't, however, when Dr Tempewytch checked the tracking details this morning before going to work the item apparently had been delivered at 8.15 this morning. Now this is slightly odd, I didn't hear anyone knock on the door, nor did Dr Tempewytch and there was no notification through the door.
At 2.15 this afternoon the postman came to the door as per his usual rounds, and promptly delivered the aforementioned package, which of course had been delivered as stated at 8.15 this morning. So my question is why did the tracking state it as delivered when it patently wasn't.
I suppose the main thing is the item has actually arrived and isn't lost in transit some where, this also means that I don't need to hang around tomorrow and can go to the pub for lunch should I feel like it, and that isn't a bad thing.
